Nokia D1C leaked images suggest two variants
The device is tipped to offer Android Nougat, Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB RAM
The appearance of leaked images of the Nokia D1C on Chinese social networking website Weibo and has put the spotlight back on Nokia's upcoming smartphone. The D1C will be Nokia’s first major release since the company signed a non-compete clause with Microsoft that is slated to end in Q4, 2016.
The images show a handset with a shiny metal frame and a matte finish on the back. The primary camera module and the LED flash are placed one top of the other. The images show the device in three different colours - Gold, Black and Silver white. However, only the Gold variant seems to have the physical home button. This has fuelled speculation that the phone will be released in two variants.
According to Antutu listings, the Nokia D1C will have a full HD display. The device is also tipped to run on an Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB of RAM. The phone has 32GB of internal storage and Nokia will probably give the users the option to expand storage through a microSD card. The phone is expected to offer a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
