Google Pixel users complain about LTE connectivity issues: Report
Google is reportedly working to fix the connectivity issue faced by few Pixel owners
Google Pixel users are reportedly having difficulty with LTE Band 4 connectivity in some parts of North and South America. Google's Pixel devices are advertised as supporting LTE band 4, which is used throughout the American continent.
According to Android Police, the users in those regions are reporting issues with this band. It seems Pixel owners in other countries are also facing LTE connectivity issues but band 4 is being considered the major source for interrupted connection. A Google Product Forums thread already has users complaining about LTE connectivity issues.
It is unclear what's causing the Pixel devices from connecting to LTE band 4 network but Android Police reports that T-Mobile users are not reporting the same issue. A conclusion evolves that only certain carriers using LTE band 4 are experiencing the issue.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL were launched in US on October 4 and were made available from Verizon and Google stores. Accoridng to initial reports, Pixel adoption is surpassing that of Nexus 6P despite the premium pricetag.
One Pixel owner managed to speak with a Google representative who managed to confirm the awareness of this issue. Google is reportedly working on an update which would fix the connectivity issue.
