Nikon launches two new lenses in the Nikor series

Nikon has launched two new lenses, the AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR, and PC Nikkor 19mm f/4E ED. The 70-200mm lens sports next-generation fast zoom lens compatible with Nikon FX-format (full frame) DSLR. It also anti-dust and water resistant.  The 19mm lens is equipped with lenses that support a shift function in which the optical axis is moved parallel to the image plane. It also comes with a tilt function in which the optical axis is tilted in relation to the image plane. Nikon says that the lens offers the widest angle view in the PC Nikkor series of lens. The 70-200mm lens is priced at Rs. 1,61,950, while the 19mm lens is priced at Rs. 1,84,950.

AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR

New AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR, a next-generation fast zoom lens compatible with Nikon FX-format (full-frame) D-SLR that offers a consistently fast maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout its entire zoom range.

Providing photographers with a state-of-the-art lens that supports shooting in diverse environments, the new NIKKOR lens has a structure and builds that is approximately 110g lighter than its predecessor while also being equipped with anti-dust and water droplets-resistant capabilities. Furthermore, Nikon's exclusive fluorine coat applied to the extreme front of the lens provides high antifouling performance and peel-resistant properties.

PC NIKKOR 19mm f/4E ED

The PC NIKKOR series*1 consists of lenses that support a shift function, with which the optical axis is moved parallel to the image plane, and a tilt function, with which the optical axis is tilted in relation to the image plane. These functions allow users to control perspective, correcting the distortion of subjects dependent upon camera angle, and bringing entire scenes and subjects with depth into focus (foreground to background). The PC NIKKOR 19mm f/4E ED offers superior optical performance and the widest angle of view in the PC NIKKOR series of lenses. Designed to stimulate a photographer's creativity, the lens supports unique forms of photographic expression with cityscape photography and the creation of fine art, all while responding precisely to the strict needs of professional architecture and interior photographers.
